Atlantic Times Square Construction, A + D Opening

MONTEREY PARK: A recent and quick visit to the Atlantic Times Square project, that enormous 210-unit condominium mixed use project off the I-10 San Bernardino Freeway, revealed that this project is, well, still enormous. The web site for the development references the forthcoming 14-screen AMC Theater Cineplex, Cold Stones Creamery, Quizno's and "many more top notch tenants." A rep for the project tells us that prices are still expected to be in the $400s/a square foot for the condos, but that figure could change. Also, it looks like whoever did the graphics for this project stole the font for the Atlantis in the Bahamas. [Curbed Staff]

MID-WILSHIRE: Fun-sounding opening this weekend. Take your architect boyfriend or go to the event and find one: There's a reception this Saturday for local architects Wes Jones, Eric Kahn and Gary Paige at 6pm at the A + D Museum. An exhibit featuring their work will be up at the museum till March 20th. [Curbed InBox]
