A group of people near Salt Lake City rescued four of six deer trapped on ice Monday, and the 10-year-old daughter of one of the rescuers videotaped the event.
One by one, the girl's father -- a parks ranger -- grabbed a deer and 10 people on the other end of a rope pulled them to safety.
Two of the deer had to be left on the ice because it was too dangerous to rescue them. State Parks rangers said they would try to rescue them again on Tuesday, if the deer had not already escaped the ice on their own.
