Marking the first time JC Penney will create an in-store shop for an exclusive brand, Charlotte Ronson (hot off the heels of her collection for Urban Outfitters) is designing a full contemporary sportswear collection called I [Heart] Ronson for the retailer, also to be sold at jcp.com and its catalogs. WWD reports the collection will hit stores this February and be found "near the front of the store, so customers can glimpse the line right away," and include "casual and dressy styles from cotton T-shirts and tanks, cotton sweaters and cardigans, a cotton canvas army jacket, leggings, denim jeans and printed polyester and cotton voile dresses" in "gray, navy, olive green and pink."

The line is geared toward 21- to 35-year-old woman, priced at $15-$65. Ronson is also interested in creating shoes and other accessories for the collection.
