Your job: get to the bar. Our job: Help you find that perfect drink. This week, NBCLA's "Drink This" journey takes us out for...
The Morton's Mortini: From Morton's The Steakhouse. If your restaurant name sounded a lot like a famous cocktail, you'd change it up, too.
Power Hour: The Mortini, along with Mojitos, Jim Beam-y Manhattans and the Palm Beacher are all $7 during the restaurant's Power Hour.
Why we like the Power Hour: It's a twice-a-day happy hour, and it happens every weekday. The first go is from 4:30-6:30PM, and the second starts at 9PM. And the second Power Hour doesn't wrap until they're starting to fold up the napkins for the night. So think Power Hours, as in plural.
Other sippable specials: Beer is four bucks, wine five, and the Morton's Spritz -- think Prosecco, oj and Aperol -- is $6.
Bites: The miniature crab cakes caught our famished eye, and the blue cheese French fries held it. Power Hour appetizers range from $4-$7.
Morton's The Steakhouse: It's at 735 S. Figueroa. You've got a game you're going to soon, right? Could blue cheese French fries and a Mojito keep you going straight through the fourth quarter?
