Located just 35-minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, Park City Mountain Resort has always been a favorite winter escape among LA families looking for a ski vacation that is as accessible as it is world-class.

But this season, the Wasatch Mountain resort has truly raised the bar on what we can expect from a winter ski experience. Following a $50 million renovation connecting Park City Mountain Resort with the former Canyons Resort, Park City Mountain now offers the largest expanse of skiable terrain in the United States, not to mention a fleet of new lifts, trails and on-mountain restaurants.

Add America’s most authentic mountain town, Park City, Utah, brimming with everything from award-winning bars and restaurants to hotels and spas, all set in a relaxed, unpretentious setting, and you’ve got the perfect winter escape.

The Mountain

With 300+ trails spread out across 7,300 pristine acres, Park City Mountain Resort has more than doubled in size for the 2015-2016 ski season! Guests can still expect the same acclaimed terrain, whether it’s pitch perfect groomers or backcountry-style bowls, just a lot more of it, while expanded high-speed lift access makes getting around this massive resort simple. Quicksilver, the new high-speed two-way gondola, will take guests from the base of the existing Silverlode Lift to the Flatiron Lift area. Feel like skiing or boarding over instead? No problem! Hop off at the Pine Code Ridge mid-station and head over to the Iron Mountain area via a network of new trails.

The on-mountain dining is equally enjoyable. New for this season is Miners Camp restaurant, conveniently located at the bases of the Silverlode and Quicksilver lifts, and offering everything from homemade chili to Mediterranean kabobs in a cozy setting that seats up to 500 guests. You can eat al fresco too on the sprawling sundeck, just save some room for après-ski at Legends Bar & Grill, where you can grab drinks and appetizers in front of the crackling fireplace.

Activities
Whether you want to learn how to link turns, master the local powder stashes or just brush up on your skills, Park City Mountain Resort's Ski and Snowboard School has got you covered. From private lessons to group classes to kids programs, you’ll be in good hands.

Feel like a day off the slopes? Check out the famed Alpine Coaster, a fun thrill ride that sends you speeding through the trees and down the mountain, or try the Flying Eagle, a zip line that takes your Park City vacation to new heights.

Convenience
With 320+ flights arriving daily at Salt Lake City, and a 35-minute drive from the airport to the slopes, there’s no surpassing Park City Mountain Resort’s easy access. You can leave LA in the morning and be on the slopes that afternoon, if not sooner. Add the EpicDay lift ticket service, which allows you to buy discounted tickets in advance and pick them up at the Express Lane ticket line, or even have them mailed to your home before you travel. Buy online. Save money. Get on the mountain faster. Make it an Epic Day!

The Quintessential Ski Town
Park City Mountain Resort is located in one of the most classic ski towns in the country, Park City, Utah. But that doesn't mean you need to skimp on the convenience of a modern resort.
