Saving money on gas and using a bike to spend time as a family. Yes we said BIKE - not bikes. With 7 kids, a South Pasadena family decided to buy a bike that seats eight! Certainly takes a little extra work to peddle up hill - so they modified it with a solar-powered, battery engine. Biking of course is not only good exercise, but helps to cut down on auto emissions. It also turns out to be a good lesson for kids who now ride as a family on one single bike!
