George Ghaby has been a restaurant industry veteran for the past 20 years. He last owned Hill Street Café in La Cañada, and in about a month, he should debut Juicy Burger at 6340 Hollywood Boulevard, in the former home of Tom Yum Thai. He plans to feature “simple hamburgers and fries,” thick-cut instead of “West Coast style,” along with sliders sold by the half-dozen. Since no burger would be complete without fries, Juicy Burger will serve Belgian fries with 10 different sauces, including garlic mayo, chipotle mayo and Tabasco ketchup. Seating at the fast casual restaurant will consist of banquette and counter. Juicy Burger will be open from 11 AM – 3 AM daily.
