Glendale Place Proposed for Los Feliz Road

Via the Tropico Station blog comes word of a new mixed-used project proposed for 435 Los Feliz Road (it looks like it's currently being used as a parking lot). According to Glendale's city web site, this purple-hued development would be a six-story, 175,749 square foot project offering a "grocery market, day spa, restaurants, retail uses, and medical/general offices. Parking for the project will be provided in a 5-story parking structure with 717 parking spaces." There's a community meeting about the project--which is within the San Fernando Road Corridor Redevelopment Project Area--next Tuesday that'll show off more of the architectural renderings, and hopefully those renderings will be a tad more interesting than this one. Also: It's not clear the name of the project, although it looks like the idea of calling it G Place may or may not being kicked around.
