A northern California high school student remained hospitalized in serious condition Monday after being attacked and beaten on campus, in an incident that was caught on video.
School security cameras show other students repeatedly hitting, kicking and choking the victim last Thursday.
The high school is in Vallejo, just east of Oakland, Calif.
Police say the attack began after the victim tried to help break up an argument outside the school gym. The suspects are all believed to be gang members and were arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.
