Truth: None of us really need some crazy-hued pen as a thank-you gift for shopping anywhere.
What we need is something real and long-reaching. Pens have their necessary place in this cyber world, of course, but what is a little seasonal something more people can benefit from?
That something is being offered by The Grove and Americana at Brand, and much more likely to impact many in positive ways. Purchase your seasonal gifts at either center between Nov. 19 and Dec. 24 and see a not-insubstantial 5% go to your school. You will need to do a bit extra on this, like taking your receipts to the concierge (they'll need to know your school of choice, of course). So read all before making that to-get list.
The Fairfax- and Glendale-based shopping centers are looking to give away up to 100 grand. That's good, yes? That's the spirit of the season. If your mom needs a grilling iron, you're going to get her a grilling iron, right? But you might as well see a bit of that go to education.
