Just in time to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month, join NBC4 Southern California on Sunday, September 13 at the Mexican Independence Day Parade in East Los Angeles. The station has been a part of the parade for more than ten years, and returns in 2015 with NBC4 anchors and reporters to celebrate the day.
NBC4 Sports Anchor and Reporter Mario Solis, Reporter Michelle Valles and Meteorologist Anthony Yanez will ride in a vintage blue convertible, waving to thousands of spectators on the parade route.
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on Cesar Chavez Ave. and Mednik Ave. and goes for more than a mile to Gage Ave.
