Join the EIF Revlon Run/Walk, Support Moms

A Mother's Day weekend tradition returns.

Of all the Mother's Day weekends to-dos, the EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women is by far the best attended. The draw is simple: Mom.

And all women. Because the aim of the annual run/walk is the "defeat women's cancers," a goal we can all support.

As in years past, the huge Revlon Run/Walk will draw thousands upon thousands of participants, either walking the 3.1-mile route or running in teams. Many will wear signs in support of a friend or loved one who has battled or is battling breast or ovarian cancer.

And as in years past, several stars will show to host the event, which marks its 17th outing this year. The 2010 event hosts include Marg Helgenberger, Julie Bowen, Carrie Ann Inaba, and James Denton.

There will be cheering. There will be pink hats. There will be signs and songs and chants. It's an early morning, and a great morning out with your mom, or for your mom, or for all moms everywhere. Saturday, May 8, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum at Exposition Park
