Kids Free Month at San Diego Zoo

26 YEARS: That's how long the San Diego Zoo has been holding its annual Kids Free Month. So it must be working, yes? We jest. You know parents love this program, especially since Safari Park joined in four years ago. October is the 2011 month and what do you know? There are five weekends during the month. Making a visit all the easier. The deal is open to kids age 11 and under and a paid adult must be with them (plus that's just policy for all under-18s visiting the zoo). Now. Who will you visit first? The silver leaf monkeys? We've been cooing over the photo above since we saw it a few weeks back. Do you coo, too? Have at it. It's impossible not to make at least a few baby-talk noises when gazing upon it.

One last thing to think about. Will your kid do some quality otter racing while at the zoo?
