The L.A. Mission will host a traditional Thanksgiving dinner for the Skid Row homeless community at its annual Thanksgiving Event on November 22. Thousands of individuals and families will gather at the L.A. Mission for a homecooked meal beginning at 11 a.m. NBC4 Weathercaster Fritz Coleman and Traffic Anchor Alysha Del Valle will be there to serve meals to thousands of families.
The event also provides other essential items to those in-need including new socks, hygiene kits and blankets. There will be an opportunity for individuals to learn about L.A. Mission's long-term programs to help change their lives.
