Lights, Camera, Retail: What's a Screenwriter to Do…

What's a screenwriter to do when she's ready to enter the next phase of her career? Obviously, you'd make like Stacey Ray and open a shop on the Sunset Strip. Fashion Rules! reports that the Upstairs Boutique, located "near the Gil Turner liquor store", will be opening this evening with a vast array of premium denim, luxury loungewear, Haviana flip-flops and jewelry from the likes of Cynthia Wolff and Shrake. Plus, not content to just sell clothes, the astonishingly enterprising Ray is also attempting to design them. She tells the blog: "I am very excited about the line of t-shirts that one of my writing partners and I are creating for the store. They are called “UN [sic] FEMME SUR LA COURSE,” which translates to “A WOMAN ON THE RUN.” Because as women we are ALL on the run–from one thing or another." [Fashion Rules!]
