Local Meat Market Gets Mural Back: The small family store in…

The small family store in Highland Park, which became a focal point of our retarded City government when city workers painted over the store's mural, now has a new mural to be proud of. The NELA Live blog reports (with photo) that a new mural is currently being painted on the wall of Los Paisanos. As you may recall, the city demanded the removal of the market's original mural for being "excessive signage". The owners of the store had commissioned the original mural as a way to keep taggers away from the tempting blank wall. Let's hope this one stays up. [NELA Live]
