The California African American Museum (CAAM) is organizing the following series of free events open to the public throughout the day on MLK Day, January 16, 2017:
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Family drop-in art activities
12 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Music and food on the patio, including a DJ and several food trucks
1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Reading of Martin Luther King Jr. speeches by politician Rex Richardson, educator D'Artagnan Scorza, curator Erin Cristovale, artist Michael Massenburg, singer-songerwriter Sha'Leah Nikole and more
