Miracle Mile Pot Talk: Covering a recent Miracle Mile…

Covering a recent Miracle Mile community meeting, the Larchmont Chronicle reports that there is chatter that city attorney Rocky Delgadillo is drafting an ordinance to better regulate marijuana facilities. (All the while, the federal government wants to shut down the dispensaries.) The news comes via City Councilmember Tom LaBonge, who spoke at the meeting about a recent fatal shooting of a security guard at a pot facility on La Brea Avenue. More via the paper: "'We have a lot of problems with these shops,” added Renee Weitzer, LaBonge’s chief of staff. 'There are about 100 medical marijuana shops in North Hollywood alone.'"
