Sheriff's detectives asked for the public's help Sunday to find an 88-year-old woman who went missing from La Mirada who was later found safe.
Betty Giebelhouse was found and deputies were able to get her medical care.
"Thank you to everyone in the community who helped us look for her. Her family is very grateful for everyone's concern," LASD's Norwalk Station tweet.
It's unclear how long she was gone.
