27 YEARS: San Diego's Mission Federal ArtWalk hit a quarter century a couple of years back, a notable accomplishment for any free event. But the weekend-long party has a lot in its favor, including over 300 artists displaying and selling work, music groups, dance troupes, and the most excellent setting of Little Italy. The 2011 dates are Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, and if you attend, expect to encounter a big surprise. A big, red, furniture-y surprise.
