That's why the restaurant's weekly Monday Night Supper, which pairs interesting ingredients with vinos galore, intrigues. Metromix likes the ease of decision (no need to figure out what you're eating/drinking; just concentrate on what you're wearing/where you're parking/what you're gossiping about).
We like the whole Monday night eat-out thing, as we are firm believers that people need to be coddled on the first weekday of the week. Whether one works or not, whether you love your job or not, there's just something jarring about switching gears in a matter of hours. One minute you're sitting on the beach, the next you're initialing forms and calling for brainstorming sessions. See what we mean? A Monday evening treat is exactly what the doctor might order if you explained the situation in full and looked particularly sad doing so.
Tonight's menu includes several goodies, but we're most drawn to the arugula salad with figs, chocolate persimmon, and pomegranate. Sounds flavorful, fall-y and unusual, and plus, figs. We don't need to write anything else there. Just figs. Yes.
