After the grease-on-Gucci-blouse scam from yesterday, today Eater SF sheds light on a group dining scam. The ploy is even more far-fetched: "A person emails the restaurant with the desire to book the place for three consecutive group dinners (in a letter that resembles those spammy emails from dying African princes with millions of dollars for you if only you share your credit card)...and promised to pay after the three meals because he's currently on an oil rig."
