NBC4 and Telemundo 52 Win Big at LA Area Emmy Awards

NBC4 Southern California and Telemundo 52 Los Angeles won a combined 11 awards at the 67th Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards presentation held July 25, 2015.

For the first time, both stations shared a noteworthy news category win for their collaboration on the live special, “AB60 Driver Licenses for all Phone Bank,” which provided information and direct answers regarding the law that allows individuals, regardless of immigration status, to apply for California driver licenses with proof of insurance.

“NBC4’s award-winning newscasts exemplify the station’s unwavering investment in our storytelling,” said Steve Carlston, NBC4 President and General Manager. “Our commitment to breaking news, investigative and weather delivers the best journalism on-air, online and on mobile, 24/7.”
