NBC4 Honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at Kingdom Day Parade

For more than a decade, NBC4 Southern California has supported and participated in the annual Kingdom Day Parade and this year is no exception.  Join the station on Monday, January 18, 2016, as several of its news anchors and reporters ride along the parade route on MLK Jr. Blvd. in Los Angeles.

For the first time, the station will debut the new NBC4x4Caster, a mobile weather center loaded with high-tech radar and satellite capabilities to go live with the latest weather conditions while driving in all terrains across Southern California. Behind the wheel will be NBC4 Meteorologist Anthony Yanez who, along with the entire NBC4 Weather Team, is on the road with the vehicle, particularly this season with the impact of El Nino.

Also in the NBC4 caravan is NBC4 Reporter Beverly White, Today in LA Meteorologist Crystal Egger, Consumer Investigative Reporter Randy Mac, NBC4 News at Noon Co-Anchors Michael Brownlee and Carolyn Johnson, and Reporter Toni Guinyard who breaks news on Today in LA and the News at Noon.

The 31st Annual Kingdom Day Parade begins at 10 a.m. and attracts tens of thousands lined up from Vermont Ave. to Leimert Park.
