Tens of thousands joined NBC4 Southern California on April 29 at Exposition Park in Los Angeles and in Newport Beach on April 30 as the station sponsored the March for Babies walks for the fourth consecutive year, helping raise awareness about the importance of healthy babies and moms in the Southland.
The Today in LA morning news team greeted thousands of participants at the NBC4 booth on April 29 at the March for Babies LA, and hosted the opening program on stage with more than 25,000 people in attendance.
For the first time, NBC4 also sponsored the March for Babies OC walk at Fashion Island in Newport Beach with NBC4 Anchor Carolyn Johnson and Today in LA Reporter Annette Arreola hosting the program and kicking off the walk with more than 7,000 people.
