Shelter Partnership, a nonprofit organization collaboratively working to combat homelessness in Los Angeles County, held its 30th Annual Dinner on Wednesday, May 1 with NBC4 Weathercaster Fritz Coleman as emcee. This was Coleman's 27th year hosting the event with the station supporting the event every year.
The event celebrates the organization's support of homeless service providers and its assistance in the development of housing opportunities for the 53,000 people homeless nightly in the county.
Taking place at The Taglyan Complex in Hollywood, Shelter Partnership’s Annual Dinner honored Jerry Neuman, DLA Piper LLP Partner and Chair of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, for his leadership in addressing homelessness; and The Goldston Family of Athletic Propulsion Labs for their generous donation of thousands footwear and apparel products for the homeless.
