On Saturday, June 30, Alysha Del Valle, NBC4 Traffic Anchor of “Today in LA," participated in a parade in her hometown of Pico Rivera on June 30, 2018.
The city’s 1.3-mile Diamond Jubilee Parade celebrates the Pico Rivera’s 60th anniversary. The theme of the celebration is “Proud Past, Prosperous Future” with a patriotic emphasis, giving the thousands of attendees the opportunity to honor those who serve. The parade will include various marchers who represent organizations, service clubs and schools in the area.
Joining Alysha was Zuma, a special K9 friend who is part of the NBC4 family and being trained to become a service dog so he can help a veteran one day.
