NBC4's Robert Kovacik Hosted Best Friends Pet Adoption Event on June 4, 5

Over 500 shelter pets were adopted during the No-Kill Los Angeles (NKLA) Super Adoption on June 4-5, 2016, at the Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles.

The free, family-friendly event featured entertainment, food trucks, and celebrity appearances. Once again NBC4 Southern California Anchor and Reporter Robert Kovacik will participated.

The event raised awareness of adoptable pets from more than 50 local shelters and rescues, including the Best Friends Pet Adoption & Spay/Neuter Center in Mission Hills and Los Angeles Animal Services.

Adoption fees started at just $10 and leashed dogs were welcome at the event for meet and greets with potential canine siblings.

The event is one of three Best Friends super adoptions held twice a year throughout the country.  For more information visit www.bestfriends.org.
