Now Playing: Sexy Capers, Kid Vampire, At-Sea Thriller

"To Catch a Thief" and Other Masterpieces: It's all Hitchcock all weekend at the Aero Theater. Gorgeous Grace Kelly, and not-hard-on-the-eyes Cary Grant, star in "Thief"; Kelly also makes twist-in-your-seat-with-nerves appearances in "Rear Window" and "Dial M for Murder" (both showing Sunday, January 25). Also on the schedule: "Rebecca," the quintessential "is my new husband truly over his former wife quite yet?" movie. Check the full schedule for dates/times. January 23-25. Aero Theater, 1328 Montana Avenue, Santa Monica. 310-260-1528

"Let the Right One In": It's been out for awhile, but this elegant bit of Swedish dread continues to build well-deserved buzz and steam. Well, maybe "steam" is the wrong word; set in the dead of winter outside Stockholm, this film -- starring two tweens but definitely *not* for tweens -- boasts a frosty chill that practically rises from the screen. Also, there's a vampire. And some gore. And true friendship. On now at the Regency Fairfax. 7907 Beverly Boulevard, Los Angeles. 323-655-4010

"Donkey Punch": A group of young women on holiday party with some guys they hardly know on a boat. Things get very friendly/filthy very asap, and then things get very, very bad. The LA Time review cited "Dead Calm," a movie that still makes us tentative about heading out to sea (although if Sam Neill was at the helm, we probably would go). Bonus: two of the film's leads are appearing at the 7:30PM screening on Friday, January 23. Nuart Theatre, 11272 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles. 310-281-8223
