A female pursuit suspect was taken into custody Monday afternoon after she was involved in a chase and standoff in Orange County.
California Highway Patrol officers were involved in a standoff with the woman in a blue Corvette following a crash near the Santa Ana Auto Mall.
Edinger Avenue was closed in both directions in the area, causing a major traffic backup during rush hour.
It's unclear if any injuries occurred in the crash that ended the pursuit, but the pursuit suspect was being examined by paramedics.
