Prepare to Be Shaken All Night Long

For those who sniffily claim that hard-rockin' metal with a truly heavy sound is a thing of the past, we turn the spotlight on AC/DC -- that slash in the middle there is actually a lightning bolt, so picture that if you will -- a group that has been rocking fiercely for the better part of -- wait for it -- three and a half decades. The Australian outfit stops in Los Angeles at The Forum, where it will surely revisit some of its monstrously huge, crank-it-up-to-11 hits like "Highway to Hell," "Hell's Bells" and "You Shook Me All Night Long" ("she was a fast machine, she kept her motor clean" certainly has to be in the pantheon of memorable rock lyrics; even your gran can sing along to that refrain, and probably does, with gusto). Don't be surprised to hear some tunes from "Black Ice," the most recent outfit from the act.

We're tickled to see Angus Young still dressing up in his proper British public school uniform, complete with knee socks and cap. Would a concert be the same without seeing the guitarist strut about in shorts and tie? But let's not be distracted by the costume-y flair. The man still owns the stage, and few performers even half his age can equal his charisma. Rock on, sir.
