"Over 100 wall paintings devoted to the African American experience decorate Los Angeles. Many have been maintained, but a few have badly faded or suffered other abuses," explains blog Recentering El Pueblo, who snaps the above picture of a mural on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd near Budlong Avenue, where Barack Obama has now been added to the mural-scape depicting community heroes.
