Starry Author: Miley Cyrus Signs at The Grove

...When it comes to the new autobiography from teen superstar Miley Cyrus, people are interested. Like, show-up-in-droves interested (which is exactly what just happened in New York City). So, to better prep for her signing at noon on Saturday, March 7 at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove, wristbands will be distributed beginning at 7PM the night before. If you want to nab some of that sought-after wristwear, you must buy the book -- "Miles to Go" -- to do so; some five hundred (!) wristbands will be given out. Miley fans, all we're saying is you'll want to think about clearing your weekend schedule, or at least the first half of it. And to people shopping at The Grove on Saturday, March 7, we can only say it should be a gas to see the hordes of trendily coutured, head scarf-sporting "Hannah" buffs standing on line, occasionally breaking into "omg" screams at a possible MC sighting.

More big-name goings-on...

...Oprah, for the first time in nearly a decade, is sharing the cover of her eponymous magazine. Curious about who it might be? Jezebel's got the cover.

...In more celeb news from D.C. (okay, that was sort of spilling the beans on the previous item), Capitol Hill is agog -- yes, agog -- at a hometown boy (well, when he's not living in New Orleans, or France) we like to refer to as Brad. He's in our nation's capital, talking the issues; lady Angie is filming "Salt" nearby.
