Following that big rain storm, an advisory about "debris and bacteria" at Orange County beaches has been issued (and it's not unusual as the rains usually bring about such nastiness). Via the OC Register: "The warning recommends that surfers, swimmers and divers stay out of the water for at least three days, meaning the water should be safe by Friday afternoon, said Larry Honeybourne, program manager for the county’s environmental health division...'It’s not the stuff you can see that you have to worry about, it’s the stuff you don’t see,' Honeybourne said."
