We checked in on the progress of new Melrose heavyweight, Ralph Lauren's Double RL, this afternoon. Most of the merchandising seems complete and staff was seen sorting out different styles of tops and pants. We spotted a young gent who seemed to be calling the shots, and he confirmed they will be opening on Friday. When pressed for more information, he restated "All I can say is we're opening Friday" and said it would be "illegal" if we took pictures. Hence, the across-the-street view. Enjoy!
