Today, we mourn the death of one of the many Ed Hardy stores corrupting the Los Angeles fashion scene. The Ed Hardy Outlet at the Historic Core on Spring Street posted a sign outside recently that reads "THIS LOCATION IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED =( SORRY."
Seriously... no apology necessary. The doors shut just six months after the boutique mysteriously popped up without so much as a sign to advertise their opening. Call it a lack of proper promotion, or a prediction of the brand's demise, but we're calling it a small step in the right direction for both the Historic Core and fashionistas everywhere.
