Tableside Drinkery: Bloody Mary Cart at Morels

If we could somehow get our morning cornflakes rolled up, tableside, and the milk poured from a pitcher held high above the bowl, we would, because watching your food come together next to where you're eating -- come together with flourish, we might add -- is one of the life's true pleasures. It's a show, followed by a meal, a little panache on a plate or in a cup. We're kissing the tips of our fingers in appreciation.

We're also appreciative of the brunchtime Bloody Mary, that tomato-y, spicy, vodkalicious libation that makes Sunday morning just that much smoother. Morels French Steakhouse is now combining two of our favorite things -- the roll-up tableside food cart and Bloody Mary making -- into one big showy brunch-adjacent to-do.

The Bloody Mary cart is only rolling during weekend brunch at The Grove-located bistro, fyi, but we feel there's a time and a place for everything. Do we want a Bloody Mary after work on a Monday? Oh good heavens no. But at 11:15AM on a Saturday, followed by a rom-com at the movie theater across the way, followed by a Nutella-and-banana crepe at Farmers Market? Yes. With extra celery, please.
