Happy Thursday. What you should be focusing on today is what food festival you will hit this weekend. First up is the Taste of Beverly Hills by Food & Wine, which promises to be a legendary four days of eating and drinking adjacent to the Beverly Hilton. Tonight at 7 P.M. marks the opening, V.I.P. event that will feature over 40 top chefs and restaurants, 50 wineries, musical performances and cooking demos by Michael Voltaggio, Ludo, Ted Allen and Scott Conant among others. This marathon runs on Friday evening as well with double sessions day and night on Saturday and Sunday.
If you feel like peeling off from Beverly Hills on Sunday, head to Paramount Studios back lot in Hollywood for the L.A. Times Celebration of Food & Wine starting at noon. It looks like Ludo and Voltaggio are pulling a double shift and also appearing at this event. You can also expect to see Suzanne Goin, Mark Peel, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo.
