“The Nightman Cometh” to Los Angeles

Rock opera tickets go on sale Friday

Dayman -- who you may recognize as a master of karate and friendship for everyone -- is returning to Los Angeles to vanquish Nightman, and yes, you can watch the whole thing live.

Tickets for "The Nightman Cometh" Tour go on sale Friday. The six-city show stops in LA on Sept. 25 at the Hollywood Palladium, so there's still plenty of time to get your duster back from the cleaners.

If you're unfamiliar with Dayman, Nightman and a certain troll, you're missing out. The characters are fan favorites from FX's "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia." Despite FX breaking our hearts and pulling the bulk of the series off Hulu, we still have mucho affection for this show.

The fifth season begins on Sept. 17, so by the time the tour gets to LA, you'll be ripe for a solid rock opera.

"The stage show originally premiered in Los Angeles last spring and, based on the success and fan buzz generated by the musical, producers decided to bring the live show on the road," according to livenation.com.

"The Nightman Cometh" was written by Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day and Glenn Howerton and is directed by Matt Shakman.
