Unique LA Throws a Mini-Market

The "No Thank You" tee from MNKR. (It's so polite but firm.) The sweet necklaces that have grade-school-but-for-grown-ups flair from oh, hello friend. And loads of other lovelies from a bevy of local designers and purveyors of handmade-y, out-of-the-ordinary jewelry and clothing and gifts.

We do love a good weekend market that spotlights humor and creativity and design, and there's one right ahead. The Unique LA Mini-Market is headed for Space15Twenty near Ivar and Selma (and not far from the Hollywood Farmers Market) on Sunday, August 23rd from 10AM-4PM. Here are the numbers/specs: some 60 clothing-bauble-art-everything designers selling good stuff. An Indie 103 DJ, DJing. And free Pabst. Or Honest Tea. Sipping/strolling on a sunny summer Sunday. Chatting up artists. Making new buds.

Speaking of new buds... Will you find the perfect blossom-y brooch? Will you purchase a sweet little flower-bedecked cap, and then head over to the farmers market for some fresh flowers? Match your headwear to your vasewear?

You're the author of your day. It's up to you.
