To kick off bridal season, we caught up with the lovely Cynthia Pinot, a shop girl and all-knowing bridal Renaissance woman, at the ethereal Robinson bridal atelier, Claire Pettibone.
According to Cynthia, the women that seek out the modern, one-of-a-kind, handmade Pettibone gowns are girls who know what they want; women who waited until after they established themselves in a career to get married. These are women who love shoes, and aren't afraid to drop some serious coinage on a pair of Louboutins, which complement Pettibone's fresh, feminine, and incredibly romantic gowns.
The Pettibone bride also doesn't want to look like an "upside-down cupcake" and thanks to the designer's collection of draped, European lace-embroidered, vintage inspired aesthetic, that's just not on the table.
