Yes, more taverns are opening: Word from the LA Times is that a speakeasy has opened in that old Victorian House on Main Street in Santa Monica called Basement Tavern at the Victorian - seems like a good use for a space that is only open for private functions and weddings. SugaFISH is also opening another location in Santa Monica right after the one downtown, (OK it's not a tavern, but it's in the same hood.) We can't wait for Villians Tavern by Dana Hollister to open downtown on Thursday, and will keep you posted on that one.
