GRILL-CLOSE HELPER: We saw some beautiful, antique-spoon'd garden markers from the SoCal-based Monkeys Always Look written up in Sunset. It almost made us want to get going with the whole herb-growing thing. But, slightly more up our alley, and we hope yours, too: bacon forks. Fancy implements with the word "bacon" printed on them. We also like the one that says "meat." HOSTESS GIFT: If you're going to a barbecue in the few months, and we think you probably are, this is a great host gift. A six-pack is good, too, but the bacon fork will last much longer. The bacon server is $18.
