ACADEMY GOES APP: There've been other apps, movie-loving apps, apps that love the Oscars. But the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences just announced the release of the first official Oscar app. It's for iPhone, and it is free, and it will have "shareable content" and Oscar results as they happen. We very much like that last feature, although we're guessing if you get this app you'll be in front of your television watching, with much concentration, on Sunday, March 7th.
