The Water Grill downtown has been a seafood staple for fine dining long before the area was packed with destination restaurants or L.A. Live was even a future construction site. Seems fitting that their Sous Chef Amanda Baumgarten is a featured contestant on the new season of Bravo’s Top Chef.
Starting this Wednesday, Water Grill will have their own weekly Top Chef-inspired special dish available on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. You can be your own judge and compare your notes with Tom and Padma's.
Amanda and Water Grill Executive Chef David LeFevre will prepare a special dish inspired by the week's Top Chef episode and the ingredients Amanda used on the show. This week's dish will be a Barbecue Rib and Scallop Duo. The following weeks' dishes will be announced every Monday until Amanda is asked to pack her knives.
