Weekend: Outdoor Cinema Food Fest

"Swingers" and supping at Grand Hope Park. Money, very money.

OUTDOOR CINEMA FOOD FEST: Should we start with the numbers? Like some 60 or so food trucks are going to show up over eight Saturday nights to feed movie watchers? And eight great flicks'll be screened? Saturday, July 10 is the kick-off at Grand Hope Park. "Swingers" is the movie. Marty and Elayne 4evs!

MORE AL FRESCO FLICKAGE: Heritage Square opens its Classic and Silent Movie Nights; watch a double-feature surrounded by the famous historic buildings off of 110 for $10. And the Old Pasadena Film Festival starts this weekend, too; "Annie Hall," "Chocolat," Mary Pickford shorts and "The Women" all happen over weekend numero uno.

SOUTH BAY GREEK FESTIVAL: It's the dolmas that'll be drawing us, but also the convivial festivities, too. That the convivial festivities happen over three days -- July 9-11 -- is a plus. St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Redondo Beach

A CELEBRATION FOR COLORADO STREET BRIDGE: It's been in Pasadena for most of a century. Now fans are gathering to fete the gorgeous, light-post-laden byway. Ever partied on a bridge before? Time to tick that one of the list. Saturday, July 10, 6-10 p.m.

OPENING WEEKEND AT PAGEANT OF THE MASTERS: It's turning 77 this year and the theme is "Eat, Drink & Be Merry." And, on the stage, loads of very not-moving-y people in picturesque tableaux. It's so famous and so synonymous with the golden arts of the Golden State. July 7-August 31
