What You're Doing Today and Tonight: Feb. 1

NEW YEAR FESTIVALS' FINAL DAY: The Huntington Gardens & Library welcomes the Year of the Ox with its one-day only celebration filled with lion dances and art demos galore. Sunday, February 1, 11AM-4PM. The major (read: bustling) Lunar New Year Festival continues downtown (note that the Golden Dragon Parade was on Saturday). Through 5PM in Chinatown, near W. Cesar E. Chavez Avenue and N. Broadway. And the Tet Festival in Garden Grove enters its last day for '09 on Sunday, February 1. You'll eat incredibly delish tidbits, you'll watch dances, you'll wish a new year well... Garden Grove Park, 9301 Westminster Avenue, Garden Grove.

CARDS OR STEELERS? WINGS OR PIZZA? SOME BEER OR MORE BEER? Tampa Bay is ruling the day, at least from the afternoon onward. Surely you've got the steaks marinating and the onion dip chilling, but if not, we won't lambaste you. We will say the time for making plans is nigh, or possibly has flown by, but you can still head out to Michael's in Naples for a fancy buffet and plasma-screen gazing, the Improv (which is doing up finger foods for not much dough), and J Lounge, which is doing a full-on beer garden. Yes, a garden of beer, complete with kegs. Happy Super Bowl Sunday!
