What You're Doing Tonight: Feb. 19

DUNCAN SHEIK: The Tony-garnering, repeat-viewer-following musical "Spring Awakening" has made splashes wherever it has landed, including the Ahmanson, where it played to much acclaim last fall. Now Duncan Sheik, one of the rocking minds behind the production, is swinging by the Vista Theater, to play both tunes from his new album as well as his big, Broadway-storming show. When we see Duncan Sheik we tend to get "Barely Breathing" in our heads for the next two hours. Which is pretty nice, all told... Thursday, February 19, 7PM. Vista Theater, 4473 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles.

ALSO ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19: Wynonna brings her powerful voice and heartfelt country tuneage to Club Nokia. The Gin Blossoms summon that fizzy, feel-good rockin' sound of the '90s at House of Blues on the Sunset Strip. "West Side Story" star (not to mention a host of the classic Muppets show!) Rita Moreno twirls into the Conga Room, while counterculture icon Joan Baez sings songs of peace at Royce Hall.
