What You're Doing Tonight: Feb. 22

THE OSCARS: We're practically already camped out in our pjs, deep-fried finger foods/festive, lime-laden beverages at the ready, in front of the television set, for the 17 hours of pre-coverage and then the big show itself. If you've been invited to a party, better bone up on your nominees before heading out, because people will talk. If you don't have an invite, but still want to celebrate with other movie fans, there's Oscar Night America; the LA location is the Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science (bonus: you'll party for a good cause). And, of course, if you are a nominee, we send you luck, cheer, and heartfelt wishes that you'll be free of any fashion emergencies. Just don't forget to thank your mom and/or agent (and certainly if your mom *is* your agent, you do not want to slip up there). Sunday, February 22, 5PM.

ALSO ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22: Smooth pianist David Benoit wraps up a melodic run at the Catalina Jazz Club. If you're a convert to the raucous punk-meets-country scene, the Reverend Horton Heat is preaching at House of Blues Sunset Strip. And comedian Christopher Titus does a one-night-only set in the OC.
