What You're Doing Tonight: June 5

GARRISON, k.d., SHERYL: Such the luminscent line-up: Garrison Keillor, the affable maestro of radio phenomenon "A Prairie Home Companion," is ambling by the Greek Theatre to bring us all up-to-date on Lake Wobegon. Oh, also: k.d. lang and Sheryl Crow are joining. And Martin Sheen. "The West Wing" prez. This all feels gotta-get-there to us. 7:30PM

SILVERMAN'S SILVER SCREEN: Oh, Ruth Gordon. Maude. The best lady, the best role; she has our heart. And we're guessing her turn in "Where's Poppa?" will please as well. Comedian Sarah Silverman thinks so. In fact, she's presenting the 1970 gem at Silent Movie Theatre. 8PM

VOICE LIKE BUTTER: Butter with butter on top and drizzled with a hint of butter. Creamy, dreamy-voiced chanteuse Julia Fordham sings her jazzy-modern ditties at Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood; in fact, she's doing a two-night set, June 5 and 6. "Happy Ever After" is still a favorite, but we like all her pretty songs. 8PM
